| Bio: |   Character Info- -Full Name: Cormac Kilbride -Gender: Male -Species: Human - Progeny (Asphodel) -Orientation: Heterosexual -PB: Mark Wahlberg -Character Age and DOB: 01/01/2005 -Complete Character Description: Cormac is 6'1, rugged and muscular. He wears his brown hair short and his clear brown eyes are stern and appraising. He has a number of scars from battles with lycans and vampires alike. Cormac's left arm once belonged to his best friend, Jimmy Clayton, and is discolored (green) from the incompetence of one of Dr. Cronhelm's interns. -Personality: Rugged, tough, unforgiving. Cormac's main passion is the destruction of any and all 'demons' he runs across. His obsession is to make Lycans, in particular, extinct. He has a soft side, a playful side...but it is rarely seen.  -Background: Before the fall of the meteors, Cormac, in his mid teens then, and his best friend, Jimmy Clayton, were in training to be demon hunters, like Cormac's father, Liam Kilbride. Everyday, the elder Kilbride would set aside time in his busy schedule to train the boys. He had a special course built and even gave them access to his weapons room, once he had schooled them on the use and care of each piece. Both boys were enthusiastic learners and enjoyed their time with Cormac's father. The man had even begun to take them on brief missions with him when he knew the odds wouldn't be so overwhelming. The boys were inseperable and even practiced when Liam wasn't around. They improved to the point that Liam made them their own weapons room and stocked it quite generously. They worked tirelessly and ruthlessly at their demon hunting skills, motivated by the murders of their mothers. When they were both 8 years old, their mothers, on a ladies night out, were set upon by vampires and killed violently. Liam had been watching the boys as Jimmy's father had taken off when the boy was younger. Unfortunately, the boys had been along when Liam went hunting for the women and what they found was unrecognizable, but for their clothing and jewelry. When the Day of the Meteors came, Liam and the boys were prepared; the older man had a fully stocked and supplied underground bunker. The years spent underground did not go to waste...the training continued and even increased in intensity, having not much else to do. When the trio finally emerged, it was to a very different world...a world no longer tilted in their favor. The world was in need of their services now more than ever. The three built themselves a home near their underground bunker, which is where they actually slept, and managed their demon hunting operation from there. It was on one particular mission that their lives changed forever. Liam had been tracking a pack of murderous, destructive Lycans and everything pointed to the fact that they were up to something big.  When the large pack finally went on the move, the demon hunting trio followed within site and downwind. It became evident that they were heading for Hoover Dam and the settlement of what appeared to be normal humans. Liam decided that the Lycans could not be allowed to reach the unwary humans. Trying to catch the Lycans in a pincher formation, the trio moved in and actually took out a great number of the werebeasts. Unfortunately, the men didn't take into account Lycan reserves bringing up the rear. The savage werewolves tore into the men and, though losing many of their number, finally succeeded in bringing them down. Clever enough to go for Liam first, they tore the man into shreds in minutes and then went for Jimmy...the young man was beheaded by one and had his heart ripped out by another...they let his lifeless body fall and went for Cormac. An army led by zombies and supernaturally strong 'Progeny' came to the rescue, driving the beasts back. The Lycan closest to Cormac, out of spite and hatred, tore the young man's left arm from his body and feasted on it before his eyes; it growled out it's defiance it's muzzle smeared thickly with Cormac's blood. The very next thing that Cormac remebered was waking up in warm room, looking into the face of a bearded, rather frightening man and hearing him say, "Hello, young man. My name is Doctor Soren Cronhelm and it seems I have been successful in saving your life.". The confused young man remembered the Lycan tearing off his arm and looked left. He had an arm, although it was bandaged. "How?", Cormac croaked out. The doctor straightened and took a seat next to his bed. "Your friend no longer had need of it", he cleared his throat, "I must apologize for the slightly green tinge. My young intern mixed up the order of the soaking chemicals. Works the same, though it may be cosmetically disturbing.". Cormac merely gave the man a look that said, 'You're insane', before passing out. Giving the young man a pat on the cheek, the doctor stood and sighed, "Right then...maybe we can work on that discoloration once you're hale and hearty". Now: Having been captured on a mission inside Las Vegas, Cormac and his partner, Jade (now a love interest), were thrust into the Gladiatorial Arena to become the latest sensations. Both of the Progeny Asphodels were undefeated against all preternatural opponents. Weapons, the powers of the Sanguine and their childer and the threat of harm coming to the human children that were used as attendants kept the Progeny in line. After many long, nightmarish months in the general Gladiatorial cells, Cormac and Jade were moved to luxury suites above the arena; this was to show the gratitude of the Sanguine for the great pleasure the Progeny gave the people of Las Vegas. These luxury suites, however were, of course, just gilded cages. When the battle with Reno occurred, Jade and Cormac were released to fight, alternately, one fighting and one held as hostage to the other’s returning…then a few days later, they were forced to switch places. This is when the met Al-Adil, the vampire who would turn out to be their savior. After the battle with Reno was won, Cormac and Jade were again locked in their rooms to await celebratory games at the Arena. They never knew how the goodly vampire got to them or obtained their keys, but he did so and managed to get them out of the city unseen. Cormac and Jade now spend their time at Hoover Dam, using their knowledge of Vegas to help educate the combined Progeny, Human, Dilectu forces.
